A limited edition of the ESKOLA, carrying a print designed by Berlin-based artist Raby-Florence Fofana. Her abstract compositions and pattern work shape several of our collaborations.

Each piece is unique. The print falls slightly differently on every bag, so no two are alike.

The construction is the ESKOLA we make every day. The material is something different: a water-repellent fabric woven in Portugal from SEAQUAL INITIATIVE yarn, made from plastic recovered from the ocean.

Interior Three compartments, considered for the school day. The back compartment sits closest to the body, where the weight of books and folders is best carried. The main compartment holds larger essentials: a pencil case, a lunchbox, a water bottle. A separate front sleeve keeps smaller items protected and easy to find.

Inside the flap, a zipped pocket holds personal items securely. A carabiner clip keeps the keys always to hand. A webbing loop holds the water bottle upright, so it doesn't tip or leak inside the bag.

Comfort & visibility A padded back panel and length-adjustable padded shoulder straps for all-day comfort. Reflective piping along the edges and the front leather patch increase visibility on dark mornings and winter afternoons.

Closure Magnetic FIDLOCK closures open with a single downward pull, simple enough for small hands.

Chest strap In our experience, the ESKOLA fits so well that a chest strap is rarely needed. If you would like one, it can be ordered as an optional addition.

Materials

Recycled polyester A water-repellent fabric woven in Portugal from SEAQUAL INITIATIVE yarn, made from plastic recovered from the ocean.

Recycled PET felt The interior lining is 100% recycled PET felt, made in Italy. Dense and stable, it gives the bag its structure while remaining lightweight.

Vegetable tanned leather The edges and base are reinforced with vegetable tanned leather from Italy. It protects the areas of highest wear and develops a natural patina over time, deepening and ageing beautifully with use.

Hardware Magnetic closures by FIDLOCK. Aluminium sliders and carabiner clip.

Natural materials age naturally. Colours may deepen slightly over time. This is not a flaw. It is what honest materials do.

Care

Recycled polyester Brush off loose dirt with a dry brush. Spot clean with a damp microfibre cloth. For a deeper clean, work a soft brush over the surface with water and a little mild soap, then rinse with clean water. Take care to avoid wetting the leather edges. Pat dry with a towel and leave to air dry naturally. Avoid radiators and direct heat.

Leather Wipe with a slightly damp cloth to remove surface dirt. If water marks or dry edges appear, soften them by rubbing a damp cloth across the affected area and over the surrounding surface.

After cleaning, apply a natural colourless leather wax or oil to nourish and protect, taking care not to let it touch the fabric as it may stain. We recommend treating the leather approximately once a year.

Vegetable tanned leather develops a patina over time, deepening with touch, light and wear. The marks it accumulates are not signs of age. They are signs of a life lived.
